Batal is a Stronghold Barbarian hero in the Heroes of Might and Magic V: Tribes of the East expansion to Heroes of Might and Magic V.
Biography[]
Batal is the Orc clan chieftain of the Ull-Dash clan, whom use the secret of luck to win many otherwise seemingly desperate or foolish battles. When Gotai ascends to the throne as the lands' new khan, Batal fails to hear of the event. Instead, he is told by his shaman that following Quroq was bad luck and thus he naturally chose to resist Kujin's efforts to convince him to join the horde. However, upon learning that Quroq was no longer in command, he willingly joined up with the forming armies.
Beyond this his role in the following war was not notable.
Trivia[]
- Batal uses Kilghan's portrait during the campaign; however, Kilghan is not a full-blooded Orc and is instead half-Goblin. This may indicate that Batal is, too, half-goblin half-orc. Unfortunately, this is unlikely to ever be expanded upon due to his minimal role.
